let's celebrate 11 years
We've been lucky enough to give 2,100 (and counting!) cats and kittens a chance at a new beginning over the past 11 years - this event helps our next group of felines have that same opportunity! We started this rescue in 2010 during the height of the financial crisis; COVID-19 has definitely been a challenge, but it can't keep us down and doing what we do best. We began during a crisis and together we can withstand anything.

Without each of us coming together through volunteering, fostering, donations and support – NBAR wouldn’t be what it is – doing what’s best for the cats in our care and community. NEW for our 2021 Birthday Bash, we’re creating a “Celebrate Each Other ” Reflection Wall to celebrate the people and pets in our lives while also supporting NBAR. Your message will be displayed on our birthday bash website and the person/pet’s name (only) on the auction website. |

Tickets for our traditional Birthday Bash in the past have sold for $50/e. This year, we don't have tickets, the event is free for everyone. But if you'd like to "purr it forward" and donate the traditional ticket cost, you'll be awarded pre-Birthday Bash karma and will be listed as a donor on our online Birthday Bash site!
